As part of being an IT Academy, the Academy at Central is granted access to MSDN AA which contains free access to almost every piece of software Microsoft makes other than Microsoft Office. To manage this benefit we use the ELMS (e-Academy Learning Management System) software. This allows the Academy to manage and control distribution of the software. This document will describe how a user can login and download software from the system.

First off: ELMS can be found at: http://msdn01.e-academy.com/accentral_cte
You will receive a login in Coach Crompton's class or your 2nd period by November 10. Links to ELMS will be sent to your Gaggle emails.

This software is for your home use only. DO NOT give/lend/copy the software for anyone. Each student will be given only one product key. Do not lose it as we cannot give you another one. Not all software needs product keys, but Windows 7 does.

If you request Windows 7- please ensure your computer can run it. If your computer runs Windows Vista it will run Windows 7. Computers with less than 2GB of RAM will not run Windows 7 smoothly. Please be aware you MUST backup all files before installing Windows 7. If your computer has 2GB-3GB of RAM use the 32-bit edition. If your computer has 3GB of RAM or more use the 64-edition. For all software: You may download the software (and burn the CD/DVD yourself) or bring a blank CD/DVD to me and I will burn you a copy. ELMS will handle the details of all requests. The system will tell you if you need to bring a CD or DVD to receive your software.
